Macaroni calls a Snap Election which he gets reamed in where nobody got enough votes to form a Goobermint under their multi-party  Parliamentary system, but the Lefties got together and got the most votes, keeping the Fascists led by Penne Pasta out of power.

Now however after a couple of months with no goobermint, he's handed the goobermint over to the Fascists anyhow.  The Parisian Frogs are now croaking loudly and are Hopping mad.  Look for Burning Gestapo cars in the near future.

By the sounds of the article, quite a bit enthusiastic whining. Seemed also familiar to what's going on in the US, with extremes on both sides (lets call them Fascists and Communists) with the real Americans somewhere in the middle, those not wanting their kids gunned down in schools or the oligarchs running the show in a democracy, and wanting nothing to do with gender guessing games that allows men to box as females in the Olympics.

The giving away shit for free I get, grew up among that population in Applachia. But while the distribution of intelligience in humans is quantified as normal and the advantages/disavantages of calculating that are known, no one likes talking about the right skewed distribution of results generated from the work/experience/talents of those that distribution are built on.

That would be a nice conversation, and would seem to make it possible to penalize the successful (the way they think of it) more heavily to subsidize the poor/unaccomplished/"I want free stuff" crowd with a little rearranging of priorities on the taxation side, without dragging in all the gender bending nonsense, "how dare you not know I am a pan/cis/bi/hetero/homo/trans individual you should be arrested!" into it.

Sadly, the society has become obsessed with gender "choices" and being "inclusive" because it's all OK.  Out in Junior High now boys have boyfriends and girls have girlfriends and the blended family which has black dads and white moms with Chinese kids is de riguer, at least if you watch a Netflix teen movie.  Is it really like that out there in suburbia, or just more WOKE propaganda from Hollywood?  I tend to lean toward the latter.

It would be nice if politicians   dealt with the real economic problems, but since they can't do that and get elected,, we get this endless nonsense.

My suburbia is a mix. My work is not. I am afflicted by youngsters everywhere and I must restrain myself sometimes when I want to shout out something "old mannish". The wife bashes me for it as well, with the daughters tacit agreement. They are quite comfortable with all the self identifying stuff, but can't explain to me how I am supposed to tell without asaking every tom, dick and jane what they identify as so I can get the pronouns correct.

I have just accepted being old, and try to minimize my old mannish manners as much as possible.

Around the block we have all kinds, and sometimes its a riot. Weird identifiers across the street, a wonderful gay female couple 5 houses down that are as nice as you can imagine and drive Jeeps, which makes them cool. Some traditional old fart people like me, two houses on the next block over, one flies "Don't tread of me" signs and Trump election stickers and the one right beside them is all BLM and Defund the Police and stuff.

We get endless nonsense because people make up entertainment crap, it is disseminated through social media which normalizes it, and people you would least expect then begin to act as though what a moron in LA thinks is "cool" pops up locally and someone gets their head bashed for being cute with the local he-man football playing MAGA with no more brains than is expected who doesn't even know it was just a stupid joke/fad coming out of La La land.

I would also mention that bubble headed nonsense isn't confined to just social norms and behaviors, what were once decent scientific conversations have also become compromised as well, history has been reformed into nonstop conspiracies and greivances between classes, a single loud opinion claiming evidence of Yellowstone going BOOM! tomorrow gets more traction than the geophysics expert from the USGS contradicting it.

Looks like thing are hopping again in the Frog Pond goobermint.

For those of you who have not been following events transpiring on the lilypad of amphibian politics since we last checked in Macaroni managed to survive the Snap Election he called by appointing a Far Right PM, despite the fact the Far Left actually garnered the most votes in a 3 way split with Macaroni's Centrist party.  None of thee 3 had a sufficient majority to form a Goobermint, so Macaroni is dependent on the coalition with the Fascists to hold together.

Unfortunately, the sad fiscal condition of the Frog Economy has both the Left & Right unanimously against the current budget proposal, which must be passed by Dec 21st.  This seems unlikely at the moment, which means that a No Confidence vote might occur leading to a collapse of Da Goobermint.

As a result of course the Frog bonds are tanking and spells trouble for the Euro, since the Kraut economy is also in the toilet.  El Trumpo also plans on starting a Trade War, jacking up the  tariffs on European goods to the insane levels they are taxing Chinese stuff.  Also threatening Canada and Mexico with this, but I digress.

Bottom line is that it looks like economic chaos beginning the New Year and an exciting beginning to 2025 for Kollapsniks.  ;D

A fascist move that disregards and disrespects the working man.  A tariff will cause inflation.  Fascists will concern themselves with maintaining a workforce healthy enough to work and die in a war, capitalist style and little else.  Tarrifs are a fascist move.

And what would a tried and true advocate for the ACP position do? The 10 points of joining the ACP didn't continue past self help homilies in economic policy advice.

I mentioned in yesterday's posts how the energy crisis is being masked by political crisis, and that the prepping party in Europe isn't really about getting ready for an invasion from the Ruskies, it's about getting ready for Europe to start Turning Cubanese.  I also mentioned it's highly unlikely European countries political class can survive anything close to the kind of deprivation Cuba lives with.

Right on cue, the Frog goobermint has gone into full collapse mode with the proximal reason being Macaroni unilaterally pushing through a pension reform bill opposed by both the right and left parties.  Pensions are one of the main liabilities and claims against future earnings that corporations and goobermints made during the Age of Oil, which only could be serviced in a world of infinite resources and perpetual growth, which is NOT a description of planet Earth.

In realization of this, the political class wants to welsh on the deals made over the years with the proletariat to keep their wages down while promising them cradle to grave security, aka European style socialism.  This had gradually been being dismantled in many countries, particularly in southern Europe in Greece, Italy and Spain, now it's moving north into the core nations of France and Germany.

France in political chaos is going to totally disrupt the balance of power and economic stability in Europe, and Putin is pretty certain to capitalize on that by offering sweeteners to the Frogs if they abandon NATO.  The Frog Communist Party is actually still pretty strong and so are the Unions, so a new Communist Revolution in France is not out of the question.

I can think of no more fitting spot for the resurrection of the Guillotine.  ;D

Why the French government is headed for collapse

RE

RE

As expected, the Frog Goobermint has collapsed and the new PM Grand Barnier has become the shortest serving PM in Frog history.  Which isn't really that long since France didn't become a Democracy until after Napoleon in the 1800s.  It also was a puppet state under Hitler during the years of the 3rd Reich.

So going in  to the New Year, France is without a budget and no way to pass one.  As we know from the regular budget crises and goobermint shutdowns here in the FSoA, Goobermint "collapse" doesn't really mean the end of the government or the system, all the career agency employees still have their jobs and elected officials still hold their positions.  They just can't pass any laws or make any decisions or major changes.  Usually here after a week or two  of minor disruptions of BAU some ssort of compromise is reached, some cans are kicked down the road and Da Goobermint gets back to setting up a bigger failure at a later date.  Nobody tries to really solve problems anymore, just put off thee day of reckoning to a later date.

Anyhow, I suspect the goobermint collapse in France will have somewhat more far-reaching consequences over there than we usually get from them back here, but we won't have an immediate descent into anarchy either.

This article from the BBC points out how the current political instability in BOTH France and Germany makes the whole EU very weak as a political bloc, particularly since beyond their individual inability to agree on anything within their own borders, they also can't agree on policies with each other which will affect trade, tariffs, energy distribution and of course military alliances.

In all likelihood come the New Year, with the Frog Goobermint in disarray and The Donald sworn in as POTUS, Vlad the Impaler will use the opportunity to make a big push and finally crush the Fascists in Kyiv.  Without Frog and FSoA military aid, the Fascists will fold in pretty short order I suspect.

If Putin can finally get rid of the Fascists, the next step would be to install his own puppet goobermint in Kyiv, so instead of just splitting off Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk from Ukraine, he gets the whole package, which would improve his total border security situation.  This also puts him in control of just about all the oil pipelines flowing west from Turkey and Russia into Europe.

After that, I don't see Vlad pursuing any further military action,  The battle with the Anglo-Amerikan Empire will be mostly economic.  Besides France & Germany, all the rest of the EU countries are weak politically and economically, especially in the south.  I could see hm enticing Greece to leave the EU since they have been so fucked over by the IMF, and maybe even Spain or Italy.  Of course, that would really shift the balance of power, so it would test whether El Trumpo would be Isolationist or be manipulated by the Illuminati Globalists to maintain the New World Order as it has been orchestrated since the end of WWII.

Anyhow, as I said, 2025 begins a new phase in Collapse, so it will be a fun year for us Kollapsniks.

Why France's turmoil is grave concern for Europe

RE

RE

"So I expect to see several more motions of censure, and several more falls of government – before eventually we start to wake up."

This sounds very entertaining, but besides being incredibly stupid, how long is this rinse-repeat cycle of goobermints being formed and then censured going to take before the eventual wake-up call?  In the mean time how does France function on a practical level?  Besides arguing, exactly what will the legislature actually DO if they can't pass any laws or spend any money or raise any taxes?

How does the EU as a whole function with the Frogs in a perpetual state of chaos as the politicians jump from lily pad to lily pad?  What will happen to the bond market during this game of ping-pong goobermints?

Collapse is so much fun.   :)   There's always some new twist to consider.

Is France heading for an economic storm?

RE

Do you think Europe will figure out their economies have been played by the Ukraine Proxy War to the advantage of the United States by deliberately making their energy expensive?  So expensive that they can't compete economically?

Germany was doing fine until the US turned off the gas and France has suffered from the loss too.  Britain hates Russia and always has, they are doing some of the playing along with the US.  They won't turn against Trump, but the rest of Europe could get very uncooperative if they decide to grow a brain.  Maybe what is going on in France is some turbulent brain growth?

If we could follow the money all would be known.
