Lying on a dirty mattress and chained to the wall, palm oil workers near Borneo would come to the village to engage in sexual activity with the defenseless animal.

Point of Sofia's film is doom, dammed if we do, and dammed if we don't.  Too many people.  But as the universe looks back at what palm oil workers did to Pony it murmurs, no loss.

I cannot fathom how anyone would find an Orang sexually appealing, nor can I understand how the sex would be any more enjoyable than masturbation.  Why bother?  Far as the Orang is concerned,  they fuck a lot in the wild.  Not as much as Bonobos, but still a lot.  This probably makes an otherwise dull day in captivity more like normal Orang life.
