I think Russel Means refers to the Soviet Union, which practiced State Capitalism under authoritarian rule. A contribution of Marxism supporting Russel Means's point of view, is the abolition of private property. Upon which capitalism depends, and private property has done immense harm to the culture and health of native Americans.
