But it too was a logical extension of a new global order that the US and other western powers enabled by allowing Israel to carry out its genocide in Gaza. There may be little hope in the near term that Washington will respect international law and change course on providing Israel with political cover and billions of dollars a year in US weapons that enable it to commit new atrocities. But recent history in the Middle East makes clear that war crimes will only get more horrific if the world doesn't act to rein in the perpetrators and enablers.

All War is really just State Sponsored Terrorism, but the Israelis have turned it into an Art Form.  Civilians are no longer "collateral damage" they ARE the target.  Really, the only prior targeting of civilians that matches the scale of Gaza & Lebanon was the vaporization of Hiroshima & Nagasaki by the FSoA at the end of WWII.  Maybe the firebombing of Dresden also.  Sadly, for the most part the world turns a blind eye to this, while the Palestinians are the ones painted as terrorists by the Western Media.  It's beginning to change a little, but how many more innocent children will be blinded and killed by exploding cell phones before it ends?
