Justice is strange.  Thompson, nice guy that he was is gone.  But with Thompson's passing more people are still alive than can be counted using both hands. Does one wrong make 20 rights?  Philosophically I am opposed to such an analysis, but...



Defenders and former colleagues in his tribe may remember Thompson as a dedicated and relatable corporate leader,  but public investigators and critics view his career otherwise.  Thompson was no innocent.  He was emblematic of a profit-driven healthcare framework where corporate financial growth inhibits patient access to care.  A truth which the Thompson tribe refutes with highfalutin bullshit which most college graduates learn to spew if they learn nothing else. 

During Thompson's tenure as CEO, UnitedHealthcare's annual profits climbed from roughly $12 billion in 2021 to $16 billion in 2023.  Alongside a major increase in the company's stock price.

16 / 12 = 1.33...  That is a  33% increase in two years.  Does this mean someone did not get their meds???  Or far worse!!!

Thompson was not a nice guy.  Thompson was a snake.
