I had started building a motor control for my front gate last year, just because it was so warm out I decided to see if I could trench power out to it with a pick axe. First 2 inches, sometimes 3 inches were froze, after that the axe went in like it was cutting threw butter. Incredible, just incredible did not ever think I would live to see such a thing, oh I know it was coming just thought I would run out of life before seeing it. Alberta was known for it's cold winters so this really is something to see. I have brush piles to burn but I don't dare try to, do to the danger of a grass fire.
