I figured as much. I wonder if we contacted a tech reporter or political reporter about 1st ammendment issues for the MSM with the evidence if we could get one to write a story about it for one of the more lefty newzpapers? Maybe Der Spiegel or the New Yorker or Aljazeera?
Wise idea not to further provoke our Babysitters by being bad little boys, although even just resurrecting the thread could be enough for another round of redaction. Unfortunate about the backup issue, on my old host I could take my own backups daily for free if I wanted to, but I was lazy and rich in those days so I paid the extra fee to have it done automatically. Couldn't read the backups on my home computer because I didn't have MySQL installed, but I'm sure you could.
Invoicing them for the deletions isn't a bad idea, you should bill by the hour for downtime as well as administrative fees and a Pain & Suuffering penalty. 8) Standard consulting fee on the tech work, say $250/hr.
