On the original Diner Forum, I organized the forum into different discussion boards specific to the topics discussed. We had boards for Economics, Energy, Geopolitics, Climate, etc., etc, etc. Each of those topics had threads which sometimes ran thousands of posts long and lasted for years. The Inflation vs. Deflation debate is one example. Near Term Human Extinction another.
It takes quite a bit of time to keep a board organized in this fashion, and it is really only worthwhile to do it if you have a lot of posting going on. We used to get 100-200 posts/day during the heyday of the Diner. Now if we get 4-5 posts/day it's a lot. I'm not going to spend the time to do this organization and I doubt K-Dog wants to do it either. Perhaps if/when our participation and posting volume increases we will do it.
