I've never been able to understand "lesser of 2 evils" voting rationale, and since I have been of voting age there has never been a 3rd Party candidate with a snowball's chance in hell of being elected. Thus I have always made the no vote choice.
I also never could grasp the 2 Party system, as though every political platform could be broken into two choices. The Parliamentary system is more realistic, but of course has its own problems with multiparty bickering in the attempt to get anything done at all.
Which of course doesn't leave a whole lotta hope for democracy as a political means for handling what is coming down the pipe, so one can conclude democracy will eventually fail explicitly. Like Zombies, it's already dead, it just doesn't know it yet.
Given the size of the FSoA military, some sort of military coup d'etat seems the most likely successor to the Zombie Democracy, like Rome or Nazi Germany. It's just a matter of time.
