How many MAGA voters do you know? I mean, they don't all wear MAGA hats and whatnot.
I mentioned my parents, both diehard union folks and long time Democrats, neither stupid, went Trump in 2016.
As best I could tell, the primary reason they went MAGA was that the alternatives were lacking. Not sure how they voted in 2020, didn't ask, their health problems were coming to the fore and whatever brand of political hacks were available being foisted off on the citizens wasn't of much interest.
How many MAGA voters have you sat down with to discuss things with? Any in the family? That's usually a good way to meet them in person, rather than just assuming they are just stupid because they don't agree with your politics.
