Hell....what is success? How do YOU measure it? I was once trounced by a national super sport motorcycle champion at Laguna Seca, me having a 300cc displacement advantage, and he whupped me by like 9 seconds a lap! That little turd of a national champion!
Losing, on that day where I was quicker on a racetrack than I have ever been, and sorely trounced by someone just practicing, was success. The culmination of a decades worth of practice, crashes, a broken back....success!
Work stuff is just work stuff. Try not to spend much, save as much as you can, marry a good woman, raise your children right, don't bet on reincarnation for another shot.
