QuoteI've also mapped the regions down to the resolution of about 10,000 acres to find the areas most likely to be effected, as well to well interference is also part of this effect. The more interference, the higher the liklihood of a well transitioning from oil to gas in shorter time spans.

    Well isn't that Special,

Actually...not at all. It just isn't common among any except indsutry professionals who work this kind of problem is all.

Quote from: K-DogHow convenient, as the church lady would say. Mapped the regions down to 10,000 acres. That must have been a fun exercise for you. Sort of like the trembling pleasure I got adding thousands of articles to the Doomscroll. The quivering ecstasy of thousands of data points. Software to manage all that data too.

Well, I'm sure you are familiar with how databases work same as I do. :)  But you would need to add a couple more zeros to "thousands" to even get into the data normally used in a single field study. As far as software, I've plyed with Python but I use older stuff just....because...I am I suppose.

Quote from: K-DogI recall you stating there was no point for me to do any of it since only three people come here.
Not sure I said "no point" but the point of large amounts of work for the three of us, I seem to recall making that point.

    To each their own.

Quote from: K-DogYou must have felt defeated, mapping all those regions to see what areas would deplete first, with no one to see. Lucky for you this is your big chance. You can share your data here.

Who said "no one to see" when it comes to my work?  I have quite a substantial audience and have published on jus these types of analysis. Alone, and with others, for decades now. Ive got one pub, written late 90's with a co-author, and I swear to God it is the weirdest thing, I get notifications when someone requests it from some academic paper clearing house or another. That old paper on deep gas resources here or there gets referenced, downloaded or looked at like once a month. Nearly 30 years old that one is!

Maybe if you didn't worry as much about quantity, and go for quality, the viewership will grow?
