Peak crude oil did not happen in 2018. But we are still running out of time
What matters is that oil is finite, and is showing signs of being on the verge of decline since conventional oil entered a plateau in 2005 and unconventional oil (mainly fracked shale oil with a little help from Canadian oil sands) raised the plateau in 2015 and still on that plateau in 2025.
Count on Alice to always be ready for peak oil....15 years ago, 10 years ago, 5 years ago, etc etc.
She should have stuck to programming software to allow truck drivers to be more efficient. I do like how she provides references and whatnot...of course....only ones that support her current idea of....whatever. Whenever.
I'll have to check the EIA stats on global crude to see if they have updated with more recent information, and if 2025 was FINALLY another peak oil as opposed to 2018.
