I stopped in to visit your office once in Sevastopol, but the office was empty that afternoon. I had been told not to, for fear it would lend credibility to your claims, but I just couldn't help myself. You were ahead of your time in proclaiming the end and advocating for a better way, and good for you having dedicated your life to such a worthy goal. I'm glad you received some level of fame for your efforts. While your technical acumen and peak oil claims were thoroughly baseless, the ideas you espoused about how to deal with AFTER oil were worthy of a great thinker.

Hopefully, in however many decades from now when peak oil finally occurs again, and for the final time, your thoughts on the "after" part will receive the attention they deserve.
