Well, I can't be a certified expert in EVERY topic I dabble in.
It wasn't just North America that was populated before the western European infestation occured. Cherry pick better. Before their continent was taken from them by fine white folk there were somewhere between 8-100 million of them. All happy folks busy killing each other for land and riches (of the time) and whatnot.
