Meso-American cultures were more like the Egyptian or Sumerian civilizations. They weren't H-Gs. They don't fit a socialist model. Not all pre Columbian aboriginals were the same. That's why Mayans & Aztec are referred to as ""civilizations" and not "tribes". North America, South America and Africa were primarily tribal cultures up to about 1600.
The fact there were conflicts between tribes is irrelevant. This discussion is about how the tribe takes care of its own members.
