QuoteThe case was sealed and "disappeared" so the world wouldn't think poorly of him.

So how do you know about it.

The way I know to get things 'sealed' is to be found not guilty of something.

What is the chance of someone being picked in two random sex stings?  The answer is zip city.

Most pervs never even get caught in one.  But if you are caught in one and found not guilty in court you are probably not guilty.  Duh.

Officers in sex stings are often paid overtime.  We already learned this month that money makes people pearl clutch.  You forget already?  An overtime tribe of volunteers is far to zealous and willing to set someone up to get the BAD  GUY.  It is rare for someone to fight a sting charge in court after being setup. It takes money to do that if you are innocent or not.

If someone in particular is targeted, AN ARREST WILL BE MADE.  Then any lies told to make that arrest can be sorted out to get at the truth only if the case goes to court and if the person charged is willing to pay to have the truth exposed.  Alternatively lies simply are not sorted out.  If a 'deal' is offered to an arrest victim as an easier out, truth is forever sealed.

The defense of entrapment is raised when the government, or those associated with the government, act to induce a person to commit a crime.  It happens.

QuoteA King County Superior Court judge sentenced a former Kentridge High School teacher on Friday to 16 months in jail and 24 months of community supervision for sex crimes with a minor.

That happened 10 years ago.  And the 'minor' never existed.

Seattle Police arrested XXXXXX in September 2013 outside of a downtown McDonald's as part of an undercover sting where a detective posed online as a 15-year-old girl seeking sex with older men in exchange for money.

XXXXXX went to prison for sex crimes with a minor who never existed.  There is no way you can convince me this is right.  There is no way you can tell me this perp's desires were not manipulated to make an arrest, and that any mental machinery or qualms that this defendant had in place to keep him from crossing 'the line' was deliberately targeted by undercover officers and defeated.  The intent of their activity was to generate a crime and they did.

QuoteIt is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.

Innocent until manipulated to look guilty is not the way law should work.  Fighting your own daemons is part of freedom, and I won't have big daddy law telling me what is right and wrong.  I decide that for myself.

Imagined violations of law are not violations of law.
