By 2025, approximately 33% of global data center capacity is projected to be dedicated to AI applications.

This figure is expected to reach as high as 70% by 2030.

    Google Gemini told me.

Since it appears to be useful, perhaps the problem is that capitalism owns it.  I'd be happy with AI under the control of universities.  Providers of AI must be nonprofit, and connected with an educational institution.  Of course this makes sense.  And must be totally rejected as outlandish murmurs from Lenin's grave.  John or Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, take your pick.  Either grave will do.

The problem is not AI itself, the problem is in the implementation of AI.  I am all for local LLMs.  We need a billionaire to sign up here, the Diner needs this.

This puppy can run an 80G model.  I could train a doom bot.

Limits and restraint, that is all we needed, and that is the tragedy.
