In New York, it was stolen first by the Dutch.

Yes, but then the world had a lot of room and the residents were able to relocate, and relocate, and so on for the next three hundred years.  The modern version of settler colonialism is an order of magnitude worse than that first wave.  Woke types with a stick up their butt I suppose can't see the difference.  Which would be to bad, because it does not frame the current atrocity for what it is.

Where are the Palestinians going to go.  Minneapolis?  Trump steals their land to build hotels and casinos without giving them a place to go.  Trump's plan must be for them to die.  Genocide for land.  The Dutch did not invent it.  It has been going on for thousands of years.  Did the Dutch genocide, or just steal land and in the process pushed people out.  One is worse than the other.

The Dutch were certainly assholes, but they did have an innocence which modern assholes do not.
