The Energy Supply Shock of the Iran War Changes Everything

No matter how much longer the United States and Israel’s war with Iran lasts, the world’s energy system will be grappling with its consequences at least through the end of the year, if not for far longer.

A sobering read.  Rationing power to data centers would be a good idea.  In Europe, chemical and steel manufacturers are facing surcharges of up to 30% due to surging electricity and gas costs.

The end result of all this will be a worldwide depression with the 1% tripling their wealth , and a lot of average people starving.  Maybe you and me?  So anything to cut power use would be a good idea.

Trump won't be around to see how bad of a mess he made  of things.  He would not understand anyway.  Trump has signed his own death warrant.  It will take some time for the fates to work things out, but they will. 🍿   $200 a barrel oil will make Trump hated like we have never yet seen.  No way he can blame this one on B-I-D-E-N.

JD Vance somehow blames Joe Biden for the current rise in gas prices - despite Iran war

Vance argued Biden is to blame for rising gas prices, as opposed to the WAR IN IRAN which was sparked by strikes launched by the US and Israel.

For a global system requireing "frictionless" flow of energy and materials to maintain a 2% to 3% annual growth rate, Trump has fucked the pootch.
