On North Korea, Trump Has Now Gone Full ‘Madman’
The U.S. president’s threat to ‘totally destroy’ a nation is beyond the pale. But is there method to it?
It was a page out of the Trump playbook. A Trump knee-jerk reaction on how he gets his way. And as much as some people talk about how dumb Trump is I have to point out. Trump just played America and the entire American Media with files of archives and people familiar with Trump's past said nothing.
It appears America's social amnesia is now terminal.

After threatening "total destruction," Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to meet a North Korean leader. The joint declaration was heavy on symbolism and light on substance! Regardless we paid taxes that year. But for Trump, who paid no taxes that year it was a historic photo op with claims of a diplomatic breakthrough. In the end North Korea gained legitimacy on the world stage without giving up any nuclear weapons.
Trump's genius is not intelligence. It's only his instinctive reptilian repetition of what works, Trump counts on everyone else having the attention span of a goldfish. Trump makes the same move, over and over, until his pattern becomes invisible and familiar, even comfortable. That's Trump's trick.
