European gas prices near Iran war highs as winter supply risks mount
A sharp rise in European gas prices is intensifying pressure on energy markets as summer heat and tighter global supply leave the region more exposed ahead of winter. The benchmark Dutch TTF contract has climbed nearly 50 per cent in the past month, while lower LNG deliveries and slow storage refilling are adding to concerns.
