    You think people in Bucharest don't notice their Nuke plant go offline?  Like unless it's in Amerika, it's not a problem?  Collapse is a global phenomenon, and Vienna, Madrid, San Juan etc all count too.  The fact Amerikans don't "sit up & take notice" doesn't make it any less real.

    The subject of the book is Fascism, but the idea that America is special and exceptional is expressed in many ways.  I have a copy about six feet away from me.  In the book I remember sneaking along logging roads in Northern Maine to get into Canada and Freedom.

    Fascism will never happen here, and Americans have TECHNOLOGY.  Which is as good as having roads made from gold.  Better that that since gold roads would be slippery when wet.  Water too low in Lake Mead?  No problemo, we have an app for that.
