The robots can be used to keep the feral Americans in their 15 minute slums. They can staff the stores in the slums that are too dangerous for human staffing. Store where the customer indicates what they want it is picked and put in a box. They are face rec-ed and it is deducted from their monthly electronic payment at the bank. Then the box is passed from the secure area through a security lock to the valued customer.

They can be used to staff the schools/daycare centers in the 15 minute slum. They can be used for security on the streets and subways of the 15 minute slum.

A fascinating dream.  I see a 15 minute sci-fi video with great graphics in this.  But reality is different.  Stores too dangerous for humans close.  Most of the stocking of shelves I do is done after the store is closed and locked.  When the store is open I am too busy helping customers to get much done.

Fast food places are sort of like you describe now.  They have a service window and nobody goes inside.  Will things stay this way?  I don't know, but bizness is saving a pile running everything through the window.  Locked doors are not going away tomorrow.

Another sci-fi dream might give homeless people their own robots.  Robots to do their shoplifting for them!
