Donald Trump Returns to the U.N. Amid the Collapse of the Old Order

Trump’s aggressive diplomacy has fractured alliances and weakened global institutions, as the United States abandons multilateral leadership. Allies struggle to adjust amid declining American influence, while China avoids assuming dominance, deepening a vacuum marked by unilateralism and eroded trust. Despite its challenges, the United Nations remains the sole viable platform for collective action, even as power politics and ideological divides undermine its authority.

The Old Order wasn't very good, so its Collapse is not unwelcome.  However, at least so far there isn't anything resembling a New Order yet, just a messy New Disorder.

The architect of the current chaos His Royal Trumpness is due to give a speech there next week, where one can only HOPE a few of the delegates have the balls to Boo him and maybe throw some Tomatos although I wouldn't count on it.  Nobody wants to get on his Enemies list and targeted for the next Kidnapping or Embargo.

Don Trumpolini will probably Double Down on his buffoonery and threaten more Tariffs and hint about Nuking Iran while declaring they can't have one because a Terrorist state like theirs can't be trusted not to use it. 🙄

Anyhow, with the election coming up he's got to get up there and appear statesman-like and All-Powerful to recharge his base of dimwitted morons,  and don't be surprised if he goes off-script and says something extra-special stupid to throw another monkey wrench into the New Disorder.
