Richard has been a hero of mine for years.  I do not have many heros.

He wrote Poverty and progress: An ecological model of economic development which I have read.  I have also read The Spirit Level: Why Greater Equality Makes Societies Stronger which he co-wrote with Kate Picket who is now his wife.

Groundbreaking analysis showing that greater economic equality-not greater wealth-is the mark of the most successful societies, and offering new ways to achieve it.

At 40 minutes in you will hear Richard talk serious K-Dog.  The only way to address the polycrisis in any reasonable way is to eat the rich.  Our consuming status seeking bullies must be stopped.

I seriously cannot find anything I disagree with in what Richard said.  At all.  Richard's books were behind my motivation to do all this.  I love the rant at 1:11.

I admire his quiet fire.
