Tesla: The Cybercab Failure Is Worse Than You Think

The Cybercab launch was the catalyst that was supposed to justify Tesla's valuation, and it delivered almost nothing that investors could measure. Instead of a fleet expansion plan, the company got a federal investigation, while its main competitor keeps adding cities. Meanwhile, the car business is heading into a tough Q3 comparison, and discounts are already back in China.

Sounds like Elon needs to get crackin' on what he has demonstrated in his other businesses, ingenuity like building new cars, launching rockets the like of which countries aren't capable of, then launching his cars to Mars, trying to figure out the robot thing, etc etc.

I'm still curious about his robots....they seem the most tenuous of his endeavors. But hey, you and I have both done the hanging thing with billionaires, maybe in another life we'll get closer to hanging with trillionaires like him!

You're mistaken. He is a scumbag, trying to repopulate the planet with his spawn, a typical womanizer, his idiot politics in relation to GovCo were nothing but idiot posturing, and he shows no sign of trying to improve these idiot characteristics.

But robber barrons of the early 20th century were like him, yet created the military/political/financial/technological behemoth that became the US of A by being the same brand of shits.

The American oligarchy allows such things to happen. He isn't unique. He is just the most recent.

Robber barons are nothing but an example of something that the US needed to handle back in the day because they were detrimental to the country at large. Oligarchs in today's environment are simply the modern version. The old robber barons accomplished things, at the expense of individual happiness and wealth and whatnot. The modern oligarchs/robber barons are no different, either in methods or the consequences of their actions

You mean to say they meant well and had hearts of gold.  Seems pretty obvious to me. And gold they did have.  They all do love the gold!  As much as they can get.

Natural Resources Research? Anything written for the GSA Bulletin? AAPG Bulletin? Journal of Petroleum Geology? They have already been peer reviewed by the qualified experts.

The professionals find nothing to recast in my words from into their own perspective. That doesn't appear to be the case on the internet among those pitching a perspective, as opposed to science. And you can't tell me that your faux misunderstanding of my point on robber barons and oligarchs is anything other than trying to force your perspective into my point, and doing a poor job of it.

Energy agency lowers world oil demand forecast for the year

The International Energy Agency has lowered its global oil demand forecast due to higher fuel prices, supply limitations, and economic pressures from regional conflict. Diesel demand is falling sharply, and while production increased in September led by Gulf nations, overall supply is expected to decline before recovering next year. Volatile prices persist amid geopolitical instability, and recent U.S. diesel transactions are unlikely to significantly reduce consumer costs.

Surely it will recover next year since Mother Russia will have all their refineries rebuilt and Hormuz will be wide open and the Saudis and Houthis will kiss and make up so the world can get back to the regularly scheduled Happy Motoring.🙄
