After reading one of K-Dogs comments about renting and whatnot and only labor has value, in light of that idea, I pose this question.

I have had 3 careers in my lifetime, all related, but in different fields of science. An employment ad inside a Fortune 500 company crossed my desk, and for all intents and purpose it needs everything I've ever done and struck me like THIS.

The question is, among us.....experienced gentlemen.....what's the thought on taking what little time us experienced gentlemen have left and using everything from all our prior experience to try and launch related career #4?

Stay fat and happy and King of the Hill in my little subsection of the science world, or turn it into market analysis and advice for those who don't know any more about resources/economics/geology/engineering/modeling than peakers ever did? Well, maybe not ever did, but certainly thought they knew in this century.

Brave new world and all that entails? Or run out of the clock fat and happy?

Inquiring minds and all....

You have time to think about this?

I never have time to do the all the things I want to do.  Running out the clock is something I can't imagine.  And while nobody cares to comment on it, the Doomscroll which requires labor to grow and improve is almost a new career for me.  I have plans to improve it.
