Really,  you went after David Icke, Fuck that.  If he came to town to lecture about lizard people I'd go see him.  It would be fun.

How long will it be before you come after me?

* maybe a while.  Socialism is tolerated in the UK somewhat.  Much more than Merica, and would I worry?  What would a place like this do to us the NSA has not already done!

I watched part of this, I jumped around.  I know this shit already.  I learned the hard way.  Up close and fucked with.  I'm not posting this video for people to watch though you can if you wish.

I noticed that one million views will generate far more comments than a thousand or so.  So I left a comment last night.

QuoteWith a million views there should be more comments here.

This morning my comment is gone as I knew it would be. The quality of comments allowed to stay is inane.

Much is left out of documentaries like this.  The state does more than peek at you.  The deletion of my comment made me download a fresh backup of the Diner.  Unlike the two previous homes of the Diner, if we go offline I can reconstruct what we have.

Trying to get the old Diner DB from our last host is not even worth a try.  We might as well try to swim across the Pacific Ocean.

The Diner is dammed for two reasons.  We rattle the cage and must be suppressed like all independent voices are through various digital tricks.  The second reason is that I know too much about them.  American surveillance is out of sight and out of mind.  A conspiracy theory that everyone knows is true, but talking about it with the knowledge I have is forbidden.

The carefully managed perception, (allowing documentaries with LIMITED information) results in the common belief that they only look.  Only looking is ALL that is talked about in any sanitized surveillance documentary like the one here.  If a documentary actually showed what happened to me, it would vanish instantly.

Most of the comments I make on You Tube vanish.  Almost all of them.  Since they know I know, there is no point in being nice to me.  The lists I am on label me a threat and my rights are reduced accordingly.  For me the censor bar is as low as it goes.  People in blissful ignorance can say more shit online.  Why? because they are ignorant about the truth, and by being ignorant they are no threat to the system.

The Diner is the only way I can express myself.

The Diner is my digital exile and good luck finding us through a Google search.  Comments like this make sure we won't be found.  I don't like it, but that is the way it is.

The fact the comment went up at all is somewhat surprising.  I have tried a few times to post comments on sites that have a comment stream beneath them, but they are held for preview by an admin before they go up.  They never appear at all.

There's no real debate on any of these widely read or viewed sites.  The comments either are some personal anecdote that reflects the POV of the article/video or some inane question that is irrelevant.

The reason all our comments go up here is because we are the admins and the site has few readers.  If we ever did get popular, we surely would be fucked with again with trolls and disinformation, so you can't win at the game, it's totally rigged.

You are likely correct.  If other members have issues posting comments I hope they let us know.

We are currently hosted by an international hosting service.  Hooking up their Simple Machines 'man in the middle' software might be a bit difficult, but we can't put it past them.  But we may not be on the radar enough for that kind of censorship.  As long as we are only a few old farts pissing on ourselves and in the wind, just making us hard to find might be enough.

Intercepting the Dogchat private messaging would require some custom work, but it would not be difficult.  I'm sure they can intercept that traffic at the database.  Supposedly DBs are secure, but since they are all the same nut, the nut had only to be cracked once.

There are always dissenting voices, 'they' know that.  The important thing is not to eliminate dissent, but to keep the voice of dissent to a whisper.  Then we actually do 'them' a service.  We prove to the sheep they are free.  Baaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

Originally I was using custom files instead of a database to be more secure.  I switched to make development easier.  If I add encryption and go to back to custom files when I have it all nailed down, and we stay with a Malaysian hosting service.  We might be on top of 'them'.

The encryption would make management of comments difficult for them.  It would not give any more privacy to individual users since individual monitoring is a different thing.  It would make it hard to tell what it what on the server.  But for my software changes to have any value we need more members.

I would muddle the posting times just like they showed me they did at Clusterfuck Nation.  James Howard Kunstler has a special arrangement with 'them'.  Special as in the dude gets paid.

Every week Kunstler gets a thousand comments from a handful of members using a few aliases apiece.  All working for the NSA.  Posting times get played with to make what they do less transparent.  Meanwhile Kunstler puts out rabid conservative conspiracy bullshit acting as flypaper to attract and identify the discontented so they may be labeled as potential terrorists like us.  The number of comments Kunstler gets is impossible considering his limited readership.  Kunstler is a last man standing snake.  He was hired as a professional sophist because his skill is writing.

If the NSA gave out potential terrorist membership cards how long would it be before we all had one?  <= this question has an answer.  I know what it is.

If you need help with the answer, how long has it been since the TSA scanned your body while you stood barefoot in a big plastic tube with your hands over your head?

??

I googled "Doomstead Diner".

The first link handed to me was this:

https://globalcollapse.createaforum.com/general-discussion/following-in-the-footsteps-of-the-doomstead-diner/

The second sentence in that link points to here.

I then used another browser that I keep around to pay bills with because I don't like Chrome at all for security purposes, and the second link provided was this:

https://www.youtube.com/c/DoomsteadDiner

And right there at the top was the pointer to here.

Were these links not scrubbed from those places by accident? Otherwise, no luck required. Just...search for the words.

I have corrected the second sentence link to point here a couple of times.  It likes to get changed to the Diner legacy link all by itself.  There is no excuse for a Google search not to show us as the top link, instead we are not even there last I checked.  But Google bots practically live here.  I should seriously charge them rent.

https://globalcollapse.createaforum.com/general-discussion/following-in-the-footsteps-of-the-doomstead-diner/ has been dead for about ten months and this place has been as active as that URL ever was.  That we are suppressed on a Google search is obvious.

Once searching for K-Dog found me right away.  There were no other K-Dogs except a radio station.  Then I suddenly disappeared and several K-Dog links leading to various interesting dead ends appeared.  This was all at the same time. K-Dog became other people.

I just did a search for K-Dog using the TOR network.  I don't exist.
A Doomstead Diner search listed only one useful link.  It points to RE's You Tube Channel.  Where after a period of video inactivity RE has posted a few videos recently.  There a link points to K-Dog and K-Dog links here.  Actually clicks here is a better description since they are pages on the same website.

A screen appears if you try and follow the link to my page asking 'are you sure'.

At other times the link here has been described as 'unsafe'.  That is TOTAL BULLSHIT.  the 's' at the end of https in our URL shows that we are a safe website.  We have nothing to do with being safe or not.  That is a function of the service provider and ours is a well respected company.  All communications to and from the server are encrypted.  The 's' tells me so.

RE

The Doomstead Diner brand name has been around for a long time on the internet, so it would be quite difficult to completely scrub it from the net,  The fact I keep the YouTube channel up (since it's free) and I've begun making vids again is bringing back activity, and I added a link to the chasingthesquirrel.com to the homepage of this URL.  YouTube is now beginning to take inactive channels down, so it was important to start making new vids again for that reason also.

The obvious commercial solution is simply to register the URL again, I just don't have the money to spend on that, even though it's quite cheap to register a URL.  Once the URL is registered, we can just point it here.  If somebodies volunteer to pay for it, I'll register the URL again.

I still have 443 subscribers to the channel, and current vids are getting about 45 views.  I'm sure if I continue and we perk up the vids with other talking heads besides me, the viewership will get back to 100 PDQ.  As fascinating as I am to listen to (lol), it would be a much better show done with dialogue, as well as running a simultaneous chat function.  If we get past 100, I would do liivestreams  also.  However, so far nobody has accepted my invitation to chat, so the monologues will have to do.

It's a double edged sword though.  Getting bigger will attract the same kind of trolls it always has, and frankly debating people who are willfully ignorant isn't very productive.  If people find the Diner, that's great but I'm not going to spend any of my very limited funds on it.  Unless something seriously changes in the zeitgeist, it doesn't make a difference whether I have 44 views or 4400 views.  The only way it makes a difference is with 44M viewers, but that won't happen without some kind of external movement I have no control over.

It's obvious that on the major sites that HAVE 44M viewers, I can't even drop on a comment, much less get called for an interview.  I think the same is true for anyone who tries to get a real conversation going on those websites.  So I'm also fine just ranting for 45 people.  Jesus only had 12 Disciples.  I'm doing better than that.  :)

The Roman army is definitely on our ass.   But my buddy wants to know if you would die for the Diner?

44 or 440 members won't move the needle on anything but, we start influencing way before 44 million.

If we were to grow I will experiment with ways to keep a large group active and discussing.  We will be more dangerous to the status-quo at 4.4 million than any You-Tube channel at 44 million.  Why, because participation here will be more than passive viewing.

If we get to 44K members I would quit my part time job and spend my time improving the Doomstead experience.  I would not just go commercial and spend all my effort trying to get us more viewers.  I would improve the experience.

At 44K it would be time to get members meeting each other.  At 440K, we make our presence known in respectful, but active ways.  At 44M we take over and the nation starts using our ideas.  By then we really are a majority, and we have the Zeitgeist.  44M here would not be the same as 44M watching Joe Rogan with a can of beer in their hand.

Now I will smoke some more good shit.

QuoteGetting bigger will attract the same kind of trolls it always has

Trolls come and go but as long as I'm here every troll teaches me a little bit about how to deal with the next one.  Trolls don't evolve to a higher life form.  I do.

The ability to modify this place gives me ideas.  It would be nice for mods to have a button that will collapse a comment into a button that has to be pressed to see the comment.  The avatar is changed but is changed to show a troll.  Then a troll comment can be seen but will be optional because of the button.  A reader can read a thread with or without troll distraction.

Re used to change the avatars of problem children as a warning before sending them to the cooler in the original Diner.   We can do stuff way more fancy than that now.  I can make a troll corner thread, and that can be the only one they can use while they are in the cooler.  A dunce cap room.  And we can set up something where votes of other members can determine their fate while they are in the cooler on the top of that thread.

I will let the obstacle become the way.

This is some good shit.

I have a dream.  Click the globe, and check out the new guest article I posted.  It concerns exponential growth so even 44M is possible.

The House of Representatives passed legislation last month giving TikTok two choices: find a buyer for the immensely popular video app, or face a nationwide ban in the U.S.

The Solution to this is easy.  Move the headquarters to Seattle.  Sell me TikTok for $1 and give me a corner office.  Make sure the cafeteria has good food, because I will show up once a week.

Then TikTok will have an American owner so what would the NSA, the CIA, the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Secret Service have left to complain about?

Not a damn thing I think.

The House Bill gives ByteDance, the owner six months to find a buyer for TikTok. If it does not sell it will become illegal for app stores and web-hosting companies to offer TikTok, because it is under the control of a "foreign adversary."

All this is strange since TikTok has let American spooks wire up the surveillance and fuckification tools to TikTok servers, so what is the problem this time?  It turns out ISRAEL does not want another foreign power controlling America and pro-Israel lobbying group Aipac buys American votes on a mass scale.  It is like the Highlander thing.  There can be only one.

This From the Middle East Eye:

QuoteAfter a bill in the US Congress was overwhelmingly passed to ban the social media app TikTok, social media users expressed outrage online and linked the move to pro-Israel groups trying to curb the surge of pro-Palestinian content on the platform.

The bill, which passed in the House by a 352-65 vote, requires that TikTok be sold to an American company or face a ban in the US.

To become law, it still needs to be passed by the Senate, which the Biden administration has been pushing to happen quickly.

The legislation was the culmination of a year-long effort and has been largely attributed to lawmakers with hawkish views on China.

TikTok was created by ByteDance, a company founded by Chinese entrepreneurs. While the app is owned by TikTok LLC, a company headquartered in the US, TikTok's ownership falls under ByteDance.

If news of my offer gets back to TikTok.    The Diner could be going through some changes.

RE and I could score a trip to China!
