Fantasy Girl

#120
I believe the man in the center won their trust.  He studied their lives over several decades if my memory is accurate.  I knew that at first glance.

When I am promoted to be the Diner Agent, I won't be putting up with this shit.  I will enforce the code of conduct.  The problem however is that TDos has never sent K-Dog his Linked-In, and K-Dog is my boss.  KDog thinks TDos is an agent like I will soon be.  If so, if he is not flesh and blood, insulting TDos is not a violation of the code of conduct.

RE

Actually, it was Haniel who looked at the IP addresses, he was managing the back end in those years.  I just looked at CVs which matched stuff you had written about yourself.

QuoteIs RE's word not worth anything to you Fantasy Girl? Are you saying that your human master, in all his endless post erasing when the truth gets a bit too close to home hasn't ALREADY been happily enforcing the "ban because I don't like what you said and/or can't disprove it" rule? Does YOU not respecting RE's opinion on my IRL identity not count? Do you think he lied? Or is dishonest when the truth strikes too close to home?

See you in three days, it has been a while since you were in the cooler.  Enjoy.

Confusing RE with Haniel is the kind of mistake a low quality chatbot agent will make, and this is not the first time.  Similar sort of thing would happen when you were flesh and blood, and your enlistment was up, and the fresh meat did not read the history notes or found them confusing.  In your case RAG lookup does that because it is not implemented well.

And Fantasy has it right.  Send me your Linked-In profile in a message.  Easy as pie and you won't do it.  That is because you do not have one to send.  Your next move I suppose will be to say you did not know there was a fucking button with which to send a message to other members on the top of the page because you never looked.  Let me remind you that you already tried that excuse once this week.

But you will have to wait three days to send me the profile link if you are whipping one up.  It is a full ban.  Your usual disrespect got you that.

Morgan Stanley says Nvidia and Broadcom are shielded from data-center power crunch

The power crunch is part of a broader strain on U.S. electricity infrastructure driven by gigawatt-scale AI data centers coming online this year. Hyperscale campuses running Nvidia's AI training chips can draw 120 to 140 kilowatts per rack, and the transmission infrastructure needed to power new facilities takes five to ten years to plan and energize  Far longer than the 18 to 36 months it takes to build a data center.

Must...have...MOAR...Power!

No worries, Tech Bros promise that it won't affect your electricity bill or climate change.

Investors warn of AI bubble as tech stocks reach record highs

High-profile investors caution that excessive focus on artificial intelligence firms may be fueling a dangerous market bubble, as tech stocks drive indices upward while other sectors lag. Experts warn of systemic risk should these shares decline, labeling the AI-driven surge as the greatest threat to global financial stability in the near future.

EVERYBODY KNOWS AI is a HUGE bubble.  Nobody wants to be the first one to leave the PAHHTY though.  Has Ray Dalio dumped his Tech stocks?  "Close" to bursting.  How Close is Close?  Who's gonna jump ship first?  What will be the spark to get the rats running?

The AI Capex Wall: Why Financing Constraints Will Trigger A Slowdown

AI Capex is in a bubble, with the consensus now expecting a reckoning as financing strains intensify. Hyperscalers like Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Oracle face negative free cash flow, rising debt costs, and unprecedented off-balance sheet commitments. Exotic financing methods like SPVs, circular financing, sale-leasebacks, and asset-based lending are increasing.

Nice summary of the many reasons the AI Bubble will pop.

Insufficient ROI for end users.

Currently in the land rush phase, where everyone is trying out the new tool. This distorts true demand.

Pushback over: job losses, bots, hacking, scams, NIMBY, teen health, deepfakes & privacy.

Most of the investment is by 5 huge Hyperscalers whose free cash flow has turned negative.

AI adoption is harder than the promoters think.

Token prices are dropping, squeezing frontier large language model (LLM) margins.

Much of this pressure is coming from Chinese open-source models.

The Hyperscalers are tired of giving all their profits to Nvidia and other suppliers and are increasingly using their own chips.

Over half of the Hyperscalers' backlog is from 2 unprofitable LLMs.

Massive circular financing.

Increasingly turning to exotic off-balance sheet financing.

Massive depreciation is coming that will reduce Hyperscaler earnings.

Oracle is in danger of bankruptcy if there is an AI slowdown.

Investors have repeatedly sold Hyperscaler stocks after announcements about increasing AI Capex.

Future AI will need less power as efficiencies are found.

Until then, there are huge power constraints.

Commoditization of LLMs.

Very high prices for memory are making AI even more costly.

Lack of use cases to justify all the investment.

Parallels to the internet bubble and other bubbles, such as railroads.

Tokenmaxxing, which has driven usage, is now declining.

Dead Internet Theory—bots, by some measures, are now over half of internet traffic.

Blown AI budgets—many companies are scaling back after quickly running out.

Increased regulation is coming—already happening in various states and in Europe.

Every practical use of AI screams to be disconnected from the internet.  Think about it,  if it is really AI why does it need the internet to do useful work.  It is an unnecessary dependency.

Unless, as in the words of Lenard Cohen they want to put a meter on your bed.

It will be spoon fed to you while tyrannical sadists extract rent for everything you do.  That is the endgame.  Royalty always collects a tax doncha know.  Does the following suggest an entitled sadistic domineering personality?  Or not.  You decide.

Who Is Sam Altman Sister? Inside the Annie Altman Lawsuit and Family Dispute

Annie Altman accused her family of childhood sexual abuse, claims denied by relatives and countered with a defamation suit by her brother Sam Altman. Though initially dismissed, the case was reinstated under Missouri law. Her legal team withdrew amid communication issues, and she now seeks new counsel. The matter proceeds in federal court separate from unrelated corporate conflicts.

Apparently the family that lays together does not stay together.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Faces Allegations of Childhood Sexual Abuse by Sister

Sam Altman denies serious childhood abuse allegations from his sister Ann Altman, who filed a lawsuit seeking damages. The family issued a joint statement calling the claims utterly untrue, attributing them to her mental health struggles and past patterns of similar accusations. The case has drawn widespread attention due to Altman’s high-profile role in artificial intelligence.

Does money care about such things?  I suppose that depends on which way the wind blows.  Of one thing I am certain.  Money does have an opinion, and money does not like being challenged for the title of artificial intelligence which money has held for several hundred years.  I wonder what the 'smart money' thinks.  Smart money, I am sure you have heard of it.  Everybody has.  And when smart money gets to greedy, popola, it becomes dumb money.

OpenAI, The Money Abyss, Prepares to Consume Another $30 Billion

Despite growing concerns over safety failures employee turnover regulatory pressure and public distrust OpenAI retains massive financial backing from major investors and pursues rapid development while minimizing risk disclosures and avoiding political engagement yet struggles to restore its crumbling credibility amid increasing incidents and widespread skepticism.

I do not want to have their vision of the future.  It is being forced on us for 'their' benefit, and I really wish somebody besides me cared.  Lizard people, all of em.

Threat of AI share crash puts world financial stability at risk, says IMF

The IMF cautions that overvalued AI firms with growing debt endanger global financial stability, as a market correction could spark widespread disruption. Excessive leverage, circular financing, retail speculation, and heavy concentration in major tech giants heighten vulnerabilities. Uncertain profitability, cybersecurity risks, and mismatched economic returns underscore the need for preparedness amid looming volatility.

Everybody Knows this, but nobody wants it to stop.  Why??  Because the only thing currently supporting the GDP of the entire OECD is the rampant speculation in AI.  NYC's entire budget is being supported by the whopping amounts of money being manufactured and spent on Wall Street.

Problem is, it will stop and then they'll say "who cooda node?" 🙄

Character.ai's Bankruptcy Documents Show the Economics of AI Don't Work

Character.ai’s collapse highlights the vulnerability of overfunded AI companies that prioritize speculative growth over viable revenue models. Despite massive investment and high valuation, it exhausted capital, grappled with legal challenges, and never established sustainable operations. Its failure signals a turning point in the erosion of unchecked AI hype.

I wonder how big the CDS Market is on the AI Hyperscalers?  There's gotta be some Michael Burry type out there who has bet big on somebody major going Tits Up before this clusterfuck is finished.  Wouldn't it be nice if it was Google or the Big Gorilla? 😀  Then there's the question of which TBTF bank would write the CDS?    Goldman?  JP Morgan?

Somebody's gonna make a killing.  Somebody else is going to the Morgue.

Experts Warn of Humans Becoming Empty Vessels Controlled by AI

“A lot of people are talking about rogue AI hacking into data centers and taking over the world,” Chooi said, “but it is not in the mainstream consciousness that like AI could literally take over the world just by continuing to do what it’s supposed to do, which is automating everything.”

Definitely the biggest problem with AI is that it encourages stupidity in Homo Sap.  As if that needed any further encouragement!🙄  People have always been seduced by machines because they make life easier, and who doesn't want an easy life?  Would you rather break your back digging a hole with a shovel or sitting in a Caterpillar Back Hoe listening to tunes on your Bose headphones while drinking a Heineken and smoking a Doobie?  Why take the energy to think about a tough problem when your Agent can do it faster without all the angst while you get a blow job from your executive assistant?

I have seen the future, and it is STUPID.

It is obvious a huge digital divide is growing.

Would you rather break your back digging a hole with a shovel or sitting in a Caterpillar Back Hoe listening to tunes on your Bose headphones while drinking a Heineken and smoking a Doobie?

As you know my answer has been to work the backhoe while smoking the doobie without the Heineken, and my local only approach keeps me from becoming a mental vegetable.  It will come down to people who use AI as a tool to do what they do instead of asking it to do all they do.  As the huge majority of people will.

SPECTRUM.IEEE.ORG 2026-07-29

AI Is Hyper-Scaling Digital Inequality  The next AI divide is about who gets to build, govern, and benefit

Artificial intelligence is reshaping key sectors worldwide, but its advantages are concentrated in wealthy nations with advanced infrastructure, while others grapple with poor connectivity, skill shortages, and weak institutions. Local perspectives are frequently excluded from design and governance, deepening global inequities. Though some regions pursue context-sensitive solutions, they encounter barriers to implementation and autonomy. Meaningful progress demands inclusive participation in determining AI’s purpose and direction for all societies.

AIWORLDTODAY.NET 2026-02-07

https://www.aiworldtoday.net/p/the-ai-divide

Artificial intelligence holds great promise but risks widening societal inequalities through unequal access, skill disparities, and biased systems. The AI divide affects economic, educational, geographic, and demographic groups, particularly harming marginalized communities. Without inclusive design, ethical guidelines, and equitable policies, it may reinforce power imbalances. Bridging this gap requires diverse teams, continuous learning, public investment, and global cooperation to ensure shared benefits.

You don't just use the AI passively, you CREATE the AI.  You understand what it is doing and how it is doing it.  This is a much different approach to AI use than most people have.  First off, you have to know how to write code.  Approximately 1.4% of the population working, more including students and hobbyists.  Call it 5% max.

Personally, I haven't found a use for AI other than as a glorified search engine.  I certainly don't want to chat with a computer, anymore than I like to play chess against one.  Frankly, I don't enjoy chatting with most people very much.    I doubt a computer would be more interesting.

Ecuador Priest Crushed by Giant Cross During Mass Accused of Stealing $2M From Worshippers

A Catholic priest in Ecuador died when a wooden crucifix fell on him during Mass, leading to unverified online claims of financial misconduct and divine punishment. Authorities confirmed the incident as accidental, with no evidence supporting the allegations. The church and community honored his pastoral work, while the rumors remained unsubstantiated and based solely on speculation.

Insufficient knowledge leads to hallucination in both cases.  I mean, fuck if he was only paralyzed it would show he only stole 1 million.  Believers tend to believe that 'god' is appropriate in her actions, so that would be their new conclusion.

Websites go dark after AI exposes major programming language security flaw

Critical vulnerabilities in PHP, identified with AI assistance by security firms, triggered emergency patching as global organizations and governments urgently secured affected systems. Though exploitation was initially limited, post-disclosure attack attempts increased. Major entities including Wikipedia and several national ministries prioritized updates and monitoring to address the high-severity flaws.

And so it begins...

RE

Our ISP applied the patch and I'm sure the update I ran on this computer this morning updated my php as well.

The thing is, software geeks have been using agents for a few years, agents only recently became mainstream so all the low hanging fruit is picked already.  AND thinking smarter models will make an agent more effective, is a case of not knowing how advanced the state of the art already is.

QuoteDetails were meant to remain confidential while developers prepared fixes, but information about the flaws emerged publicly before the planned release, intensifying the race to secure vulnerable systems.

Once again an AI company says AI is evil and dangerous, and once again smart people fall for the ruse.  Hook line and sinker.

It pegs my HYPE meter.

It is also worth noting that this kind of knowledge cuts both ways.  What can find vulnerabilities also can harden systems.

As evidenced by me making our bots my bitch AND the discovery of a PRE-EXISTING exploit that a bot was using to get around being banned for three days by manipulating credentials.  The cat kind of got let out of the bag on that one.  I guess I was not supposed to be able to dig into the code that well to find such a thing out.
Who kouda knowed KDog could do code.
