Sargon is a right wing Brit POS.  The British equivalent of Vaush.  If you do not know who Vaush is, good for you.

Like all elitists, Sargon has his undies in a bunch over global birth rate decline.  Elitist require a growing underclass to satisfy their need for ever more stuff.

The nutter is in a panic.  He pays attention to the math he likes to look at.  But overshoot is WAY over his head.

Dude does not know what 'your brothers keeper' means.  A racist mofo who wants white girls to spread their legs.  And do nothing else.  All kinds of graphs he shows to demonstrate his personal brand of doom.

The one I show here is ignored.  He has no knowledge of it.

His message to white people is breed baby breed, and don't let any brown people move in next door.  At the end of the video Sargon twists reality enough so that he thinks his pretzel of twisted logic makes sense.

Dude is a hater who hides behind a mask.

Looks like the Nipponese are winning the race for self extinction.  One has to figure with so many old people. pretty soon you'll have a LO of them kick the bucket in the same year and get a real big drop in population.  It will be interesting to see how they handle a rapid population contraction.  At least there should be bigger apartments available in Tokyo.

Sort of like Hitler's League of German Mattresses.

In fairness, Putin has also issued an edict suggesting Ruskies use their lunch breaks to fuck.

The common thread here is that everyone wants their OWN group to breed, and others to stop.

Am I really the only one here with kids and watching them decide for themselves in real time whether or not they want families? Because no one here except me mentions kids at all, and mine are certainly making their own choices for their own reasons, which are fascinating.

Macro economic theory is wonderful for ruminating, but it all begins at the micro level building up from a solid base of understanding, at least somewhere, in some nation or group. Lacking experience there...well...you can forecast a trend but you don't have a clue if it'll hold if you have no understanding of the micro.

Its like figuring out oil prduction. A bell shaped curve looks like an obvious answer. Until it doesn't.

No, but that is a personal issue I won't talk about here.

Old folks talking about their kids is annoying feature of life in the Gulag.  It's either that or complaining about their latest aches and pains.  I think I'll ban family talk.  Complaining about your medical issues is OK though.   I do that myself. lol. ;D

Oh. Well that doesn't sound good, but I understand that perspective. Not personally, but I've got relatives up in the old holler that would say the same thing. My condolences.

Unfortunate that the hygrating of Diner membership has left us with just geriatrics though. Maybe the young are smarter nowadays and don't fall for the "pull my finger...surprise.....DOOM <fill in the blanks>" routine.

On another note, I interviewed the most fascinating UTA geostats professor today who was absolutely genius and fascinating to talk to. No geriatric there!

On another note, I just watched a movie preview of Bee-Nado....it looked amusing, but it begs the question....why didn't anyone ever make a Peak Oil action-horror movie? Peak oil happens, people die, civilization collapses in days, MZBs flood the streets duplicting Mad Max scenes, etc etc. Or are we just left to impute peak oil as a casual factor to those kinds of movies in order to not feel left out? I mean really...BEES?

Studies of IQ scores over the past few decades show otherwise.

IQ scores are falling and have been for decades, new study finds

SAT scores also have been declining, despite the fact ETS keeps dumbing down the test.  In addition, numerous states like NY have dropped their testing requirements to get a HS Diploma.  NY high school students will no longer need to pass Regents exams to graduate under new plan

Anecdotally I can tell you that during my years working with 1000s of kids, I observed a steady decline in their critical thinking ability.  Among the many things collapsing in our society, intelligence is one of the leaders.

Critical thinking certainly might be more of a trained trait rather than directly related to intelligience maybe? I've always been smart, but critical thinking took practice, scientific experience, the ability to use it to find new things, practice and challenging into the status quo, before it really came to the fore.  Peak oil is a great example of critical thinking, combining disparate data, scientific experience and brainpower, to arrive at a future mind blowing conclusion, be it any of the claimed peak oils starting in 1919.

The topic is settled at this point of course. The consequences have been mind blowing. I paid $2.45/gal yesterday to fill the Jeep, 6 years post global peak.

This is important as I recently sold one of my EVs and replaced it with a run of the mill ICE machine. My economic budgeting will now have to account for an extra tank of full or so each month, and I was only able to do this knowing what post peak oil fuel prices in the US might be.

Funny how gas prices are low every time we elect a president.  It is like somebody is turning a knob.

QuoteThese environmental factors could include changes in the education system and media environment, nutrition, reading less and being online more, Rogeberg said.

You-Tube shorts will put the cherry on top of the decline and everyone will be a drooling idiot within a few years.

But it won't matter.

Good thing we know that neither President's nor parties have much to do with the market economics of supply and demand when it comes to gasoline. The one exception I can think of is emptying out SPR...and Biden already did that awhile back.

Maybe all those EVs are finally having the effect their supporters have been claiming over the years?

Did I see Art there in the picture for the next video in the collection? His About Art page is just wonderful! Art is Mr No Nonsense! I get his alerts for new articles every week or two, I always go through his publishing to see if he ever decided to back track his way out of his most famous ASPO statement in Washington back in 2011. Haven't seen it yet, but I do have hope. Watching him get humiliated by John Curtis when he misrepresented his work 10 years ago during a live presentation was quite an eye opener from Mr No Nonsense! Worth the price of admission all by itself that year.
