This does reinforce however that His Trumpness will do his very best to completely gut any environmental protections and happily allow the Tech Bros to burn coal if needed to keep their AI toys lit up.

By the time he finishes his term, atmospheric CO₂ will probably double its current percentage.

We are approaching 1% a year so by the end of his term (which at this point needs to be determined from actuarial tables) doubling would be pretty much impossible.

Double is approaching 1000ppm.  The same level as that of a greenhouse using a CO2 tank to promote growth. 

That will take 70 years.  Trump obviously has made a pact with the devil to have had the luck he has.  But my understanding is that Satan only makes such contracts for a term of natural life.

At that point he collects the soul.  So Trump's term will not see a 50% rise. 

Unless Mr. Orange is actually Satan himself.  If that is the case he will be President Trump forevah.

The Annual change in December was : +0.84%  Half again what it was when I started tracking dates a year apart to cancel out seasonal CO2 variation.  Humanity is fucked.
