What American Fascism Would Look Like

RE

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will have a budget for more officers than the FBI. The nation's immigration detention centers will have more funding than the federal Bureau of Prisons.

Remember also, the FSoA ALREADY incarcerates more people than Stalin did in Russia.  It's already the biggest prison system the world has ever seen.

"It is hard for people to imagine what immigration enforcement is going to look like once all this money goes.  It already looks really bad and scary, like we're turning into a police state and surveillance state. The orders of magnitude are going to be multiplied."

Not hard for me to imagine.   Just think of the Gestapo in Casablanca in 1942, but worse.

I wish you were exaggerating.  I know you are not.

How was an entire people groomed to serve one of the most evil regimes of modern history.  What happened in those first few years.  How did 'they' do it.

There is history on the subject.

"Volksgemeinschaft is a German term meaning "people's community" or "national community," which was popularized by the Nazi Party to promote a racially unified society where individual interests were subordinate to the collective interests of the nation. This concept aimed to eliminate social divisions and create a sense of unity among the German people, while excluding those deemed "undesirable" based on race or ideology."

The Quiet Revolution: How the Nazis Transformed German Society Before the Holocaust Began

When Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1933, Germany did not suddenly plunge into the horror we now associate with the Nazi regime. Instead, the transformation was slow, calculated, and disturbingly quiet. In those first few years, Hitler did not lead with antisemitic vitriol. Instead, he orchestrated a broad cultural and political realignment under the guise of restoring national pride, economic order, and unity. This calculated restraint helped normalize Nazi ideology, paving the way for later atrocities.

At the heart of this effort was the concept of Volksgemeinschaft — a word meaning "people's community." On the surface, it evoked images of unity, equality, and shared purpose. In a nation wounded by the Treaty of Versailles, economic depression, and political chaos, it was a seductive promise. But the term had a darker intent: to construct a society defined not just by unity, but by exclusion — to separate the so-called "true Germans" from those deemed racially or ideologically impure.

Yet contrary to Nazi propaganda, the average German in 1933 did not harbor violent antisemitic sentiments. Jews were neighbors, shopkeepers, veterans of World War I. Many Germans saw no reason to turn against them. Hitler, ever the tactician, quickly realized this and temporarily downplayed his rhetoric against Jews. Public references to antisemitism faded. The focus shifted instead to economic recovery, infrastructure projects like the Autobahn, and job creation — all designed to win trust and gratitude.

This period was critical. With the Jews out of the immediate spotlight, the Nazis began social engineering from the inside out: reorganizing education, rewriting textbooks, infiltrating youth organizations, and purging civil institutions of dissent. People were rewarded for conformity, and encouraged to report neighbors who spoke against the regime. It wasn't hatred that took root — it was obedience.

This subtle reshaping of moral and social norms set the stage for what would later come. After the population had internalized the logic of obedience to the state, exclusion of the "other", and sacrifice of individual will for national unity, it was easy to activate hatred. A few zealots could be counted on to lead the charge.  Break shop windows, burn synagogues, and assault Jewish citizens.  Once that spell of normalcy was broken, bystanders followed. Once socially conditioned, they felt nothing wrong with believing and doing what they were told.

By the time the Nazis resumed their antisemitic campaign in 1935 with the Nuremberg Laws, their moral groundwork had been laid. The German people had been reshaped into passive participants for a regime that demanded loyalty above conscience.  Obedience for the public good.  Morals carefully designed to manipulate a population.

The first quiet years, are essential to understanding the Nazi rise. It wasn't rage that made the rise possible. It was manipulation, gradualism, and a deliberate erosion of independent thought. The chilling lesson is that they succeeded.

Denying that America is going Fascist is academic.  The signs are there.

We do not have armed gangs roaming the streets, instead we have substitutes that the Austrian painter/bully who sketched the design for the 'Peoples Car' could not afford.  Fascists make promises.  Then when they can't deliver, they blame somebody else.  Done artfully the public then follows their leader into doom.

Who will be the next scapegoat?  How artfully will it be done?

This one is from the Holocaust Museum.  Not quite as detailed, it covers more ground than the other.  A view from a higher altitude.

Basically, combined with the huge budget being dedicated to hiring new Gestapo to staff the ICE legion of masked thugs, absolutely anyone can be desaperecido on a whim, with virtually no recourse.  Not just by order from Trumpolini or by mistake, but by any ICE agent with a grudge or desire to get rid of somebody.  Say he has the hots for your wife.  He and his team can drop in at your job, whisk you to the airport and before the day is out you're standing on the side of the road in cartel country in Mexico or a war zone in Sudan.

Drop a comment on Instagram criticizing Israel or a joke about his his mental acuity goes viral,  12 hours later you're in Nigeria with no passport and an empty wallet.

Trump makes Stalin  and ICE makes the KGB look like amateurs.

Nigeria ?

Yesterday he could not even spell it.

Deportation Industrial Complex.  Perfect.  The new Gestapo will be referred to as DICs.

Can't wait to see the DICs who apply for this job.  Probably will come from the same applicant pool as the TSA gets, except to get enouugh of them they'll have to lower the standards below the requirements for a job with the TSA.

Anybody else sense a clusterfuck in the making?

Every time I go through TSA I have to count on a few extra minutes in the scanning machine so the TSA agents can admire the size of my dick.

It looks like these two have experienced the thrill.

* TSA agents can get overtime as plain clothes gang-stalkers if someone who owns their own political website gets uppity.  They can do gang-stalking.  ICE agents will get the same perks.

Not exactly plain clothes.  The gang stalker uniform is a plain bleached white shirt with black dress pants.  By the time you figure out that leaving your phone at home is the only way to not have them get to where you are going before you do, you have already been terrorized.

And if they also know someone in common with you, they can bust themselves should the 'small world' connection gets exposed.  That is how you find out where they come from.

RE

The transition to a Military Dictatorship is just about complete.  Combined with the massive expansion of ICE Agents (Gestapo), the National Guard takes on the role of the SS as the miilitary arm of internal political policing that insures the population follows the Party Line and votes correctly.  On election day with ICE Agents at every polling station, non-white citizens will at the very least be detained if not deported, making going out to vote a risky move.  Fear is already sweeping through the sanctuary cities, can you imagine what it will bee like with troops armed with automatic rifles traveling in APCs are patrolling the poor neighborhoods?

Even if Trumpolini himself doesn't run for POTUS, dollars to doughnuts Don Jr. or Baron Trump will be on the ballot as the figurehead, with Daddy pulling the strings.  Remember Papa Doc and Baby Doc in Haiti?

Time has run out to stop the transition via the courts or the electoral system.  Even the window dressing of "freedom" is finished in the FSoA.

So....just the females, or the males as well? So....maybe there are gay folks taking over TSA!!!!! Someone wanna tell the Trumpster so he can get real he-men in there instead!

Out of curiosity, you had mentioned your environmental bona fides by being so enthusiastic as to buy...a heat pump....shouldn't you be avoiding flying like the plague?

Ever use a public urinal?  Shower in the HS locker room?  Straight guys are always comparing dick size.  Girls don't have to be lezzies to compare boob size either.

Yes. I assume most folks would have at one time or another.

6 days a week in high school through 3 sport seasons, sure.

Shit really? Maybe in NYC special schools for Illuminati wanna-be's but in the private school I went to nobody seemed to give a shit about that at all. Getting into Annapolis was a big deal, maybe rich folk are less concerned with the size of everyone else's johnson than Illuminati wanna-be's?

Don't know girls who compare boob size either. I don't doubt they do, as I have no doubt guys have this thing with their Johnsons.

What does any of this have to do with anything? Other than K-Dog says he has a big Johnson and doesn't mind announcing it to folks as though it matters to someone besides him? And the wife I guess.

I'm more interested in his environment credentials seemingly clashing with his transportion habits.

If anyone is going to talk about my sausage it is going to be me.

I should send TDOS to the cooler for for this.  It with "environment credentials seemingly clashing with his transportion habits" beg for a three day vacation.  But I am not going to give his ass the three day suspension thing for these blatant privacy violations this time.

I'm bigger than that.

Of course. Testing out the new (to me) two wheeler after the new battery went in, double check the drain and fill bolts for the shaft drive (changed fluid two days ago), tested the new grip covers without wearing gloves, no finger tingle on the interstate success, new brake fluid in ol' reliable for a 4000 mile trip (thinking the NASA center in Huntsville), plugs and fuel filter, etc etc.

All of this today.

Goodness...what do you think I am, someone trapped without mobility or thinking of my next environmentally friendly home improvement exercise? I HATE home improvement stuff. I make the kid mow the lawn! I am putting a cover on the outside compressor in a couple weeks maybe. My total involvement this year with house crap.

So not COULD be doing.....HAVE BEEN doing. Tomorrow its tires on the American Iron Mileage Monster for that trip. Engine oil and transfer case and rear differential on the little turbo AWD, probably putting it away within a month, want mostly new fluids in it for storage.
