How to raise oil prices the old fashioned way

Add Nigeria to the list of oil producing countries we're either bombing or sanctioning.  Notice a pattern here?  Can u imagine what the price of oil would be without the sanctions on Iran & Russia and bomb free sskies over Vz and Nigeriaa?  Like $30 bbl.  lol.

Newzflash for the strategists from the Al Capone School of Gangster Capitalism who thought this one up.  Dropping down the Death From Above on3rd world kids and freezing the assets of South American judges who make your life miserable will NOT solve lack of credit on the demand side of the price point of affordable oil.

On the other hand, ramping up resource wars all over the fucking globe is NOT going to inspire investment in ANY sector of the economy besides the weapons manufacturers.  The bump you might get from a war economy will be more than levelled by ddwindling confidence in the konsumer sector.

It's the economics, dimwits. 🤑

US air strikes won't fix Nigeria's security crisis but could make it worse

QuoteUS air strikes won't fix Nigeria's security crisis but could make it worse

After reading the article the poor S.O.B.s on the ground where the bombs fell have a few things in common with Venezuelan fishermen.

Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar says Abuja (capital city) provided the US with intelligence ahead of the Christmas Day strike.  However the ISIL people are hundreds of miles away in Borno.  And the missile strikes were in Sokoto.  600 miles away.

The tea leaves tell me that powerful men in Nigeria had the US kill a few enemies in an area characterized by social breakdown and banditry, and not ISIS, ISIL, or whatever religious strife that is 600 miles away.  In return for doing something financial for the orange pinhead we can be sure.

Is Lakurawa the emerging face of terror in the Sahel?

A group known as Lakurawa is terrorising Nigerian residents along the country's border with Niger.

* The embeddedness of the group in the communities means that there can be no successful military action against them without hitting unwanted civilian casualties.

* It is unlikely that the insecurity in Nigeria will end soon.

But it gave the department of war something to do.  Kissed Nigerian government ass too.  Killed some people.

And probably did not accomplish a god-damn thing.

Turns out I am right.

Did The US Just Hit The 'Wrong' Village in Nigeria With No History of Any ISIS Activity?

Residents and local representatives in Jabo describe a village that has seen no ISIS presence and little of the sort of militant violence that might justify such strikes.

DUH  Tomahawk missiles                      Do not ask questions.
