Britain’s scorched fields mean a food crisis – and the government is ignoring the one measure that would help George Monbiot George Monbiot  This summer’s extreme weather and wars in Iran and Ukraine have made our need for food stockpiles more pressing than ever.


The harvest is only starting to come in.  Between the fertilizer problems and drought issues, if they only come up 25% short it will be a miracle.  By next year things may be getting very ugly.
