Facing a 'Muslim NATO': Israel's biggest-ever defense deal reshapes the Mediterranean

Israel and Greece are finalizing a major defense pact that replaces aging systems with advanced Israeli missile technology. This alliance counters Turkish expansionism while reflecting a European shift toward proven military capabilities over political considerations. My 1st question is WTF does Greece get the money to buy all these shiny new weapons from the Israelis? This is the same Greece that has been perpetually bankrupt and had to refinance its debt at least twice since the 2008 financial crisis. The same Greece that currently has an 8% UE Rate. The same Greece whose population and tax base has been cratering since 2008 also.

2nd, since the Israelis are complaining about not having enough Patriots to stop themselves from getting pummeled by missiles from Iran, why would the stuff they are providing to Greece be good enough to prevent Greece from being pummeled by Turkey if the Turks decide they need to capture the rest of Cyprus and a few other Greek Islands?

Besides the Olives, what does Greece have that the Turks want so bad that they would start firing missiles at them? The old Greeks still left there are in imminent danger of a Turkish invasion and need this protection?

Somehow I doubt all of this and suspect some connection to the Iran war. Perhaps a deal was made by Chump to loan Greece the money to buy these weapons in return for Greece to allow the FSoA to relocate one or more of the destroyed bases in the MENA countries in Greece, which is a bit further away but still within range to fire missiles at Iran from? That would explain where the money is coming from.
