They might not. I wasn't referencing what THEY know or said, but just the usual run of the mill PhD type in physics. I can believe it, having worked professionally with both (and been called on to teach them in my specialty). The MIT person I am thinking of was amazing, he could take my stochastic designs and turn them into IRL masterpieces in weeks that had taken me a year to design and debug. But he couldn't touch the Harvard grad in mathematics, abstract thinking, that guy taught me more in my time working with him than a normie learns in a lifetime.
