With the Epstein distraction causing as much blowback as it does to Trump, he now doubles down on the all important 'spectacle'.  Trump's three ring circus.  In his center ring, Iran.  Step up and take a bow Iran.  Drum roll please.

Unfortunately this quote below does not work out as a liability to Trump as it should, and would for anyone else.

Spectacle politics does not require loyalty to specific leaders but to the emotional narrative they embody, rendering individual figures ultimately expendable.

Since Trump is only a figurehead to the bicameral mind it is fine with America that he is a narcissistic idiot with dementia.  America lost the kind of reflective inner voice modern humans once had, so it is all good.  Trump satisfies the now more simple American emotional narrative.  Trump is what America craves.  That is all that matters in America's flyover paradise.  So damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.  Here we go, we're doing it.

Epstein files compromised by foreign hacker who breached FBI

A foreign hacker compromised files relating to the FBI’s investigation of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during a break-in at the bureau’s New York Field Office three years ago, according to a source familiar with the matter and recently published Justice Department documents reviewed by Reuters.

My opinion is that this is a false report meant to confuse the issues.

Bondi won’t appear for House deposition next week in the Epstein investigation

The Department of Justice has indicated that former Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi will not appear for a scheduled deposition next week before a House committee investigating how the government handled its investigations into Jeffrey Epstein.

That Bondi won't testify makes me ask.  Why are we born to suffer and die?  But I know the answer.  It is 'why not', and thus this mystery of the universe is solved.

Why isn't this being explained? Why isn't there accountability?  What is the point of congress?

The DoJ claims because she was subpoenaed as Attorney General it no longer applies.  CONgress will now cite her for contempt and rewrite the subpoena.  She may or may not show for that, if not, she may or may not be arrested and jailed.
