Trump is an idiot.  For one guy Trump lets the entire world know he is a dictator without any principles.  The amount of political capital spent on his pointless stunt far outweighs any benefit.  It will only distract from the pedophile files for a few days.

Benefit, hell there isn't any.  One guy and his wife equals an entire country.  Not.  This is a comparison which makes no sense.  Trumpthink is what it is.  Two meat packages and a country, are not the same thing unless you think you are what you 'own'.

It is interesting how Trump's narcissistic addled demented brain thought kidnapping could be a good idea.  In Trump's world most people are irrelevant, and without any value whatever.  But with Maduro Trump made an exception.  Gold on the man's desk don't you know.  Like to himself Trump assigned a value to Maduro that was unreasonable.  A value that simply was not there.  And now Trump has to deal with a very angry Venezuela.  All Trump has done is hasten his own demise because no, owning the body of a man does not own the country he is president of.

Trump often thinks that America now belongs to him,  he assumed the same must be true for Maduro.  If I own you, I own Venezuela goes Trump's fake logic.

The truth is all this has happened because Trump is deluded and has no working brain.  Trump is a trip without a destination.

#1 Venezuela, as well as Cuba and Nicaragua, are viewed by the Trump administration as key actors of the "axis of socialism" — with Colombia also under scrutiny. Trump warned last month that Colombian President Gustavo Petro needs to "watch his ass" over cocaine flowing to the U.S.

I'm really curious to see how they think they can now "run" Vz without parking a whole LOT of BOTG around all the Oil facilities, shipping facilities and Goobermint offices?  WTF is going to do all the clerical jobs and physical labor?  I hardly think the workers will welcome their new overlords, and there are lots of people with gunz very accustumed to shoooting people.  No shortage of RPGs or C-4 either.

Clearly, he's counting on this as a distraction from the Pedo Files (sic) and the Health insurance boondoggle.

Will we get a confrontation at sea between FSoA an Ruskie naval forces?  I can't see the Rusies allowing the oil to be taken in International Waters.  That's a blatant act of PIRACY, an ACT OF WAR.

OK, first off there is a really tight lid on reporting about this.  Other than FSoa State controlled MSM outlets, none of  the foreign media reports have been available since late last night.  From the little I have been able to glean, the "International Sanctions" the FSoA aren't international at all, they are unilateral.   Basically nobody is supposed to sell Oil to anyone the FSoA flags as an "enemy".  Clearly, the goal is to cut off energy supply to every country that doesn't kowtow to the FSoA.  This includes just about every 3rd world country with a Socialist goobermint.

Also apparent is that this strategy has been in place for weeks before Maduro was kidnapped.  By taking control of the shipping lanes, the FSoA is trying to make sure it controls the global energy trade.

Clearly longer term neither the Ruskies nor the Chinese can accept this situation.  The question is how they will protect future ships, since I doubt they will try now to board this one.  The ship likely has no oil, so there is some chance they might elect to scuttle the ship.

Looks like WWII has begun on the high seas.  We're looking at what amounts to a global embargo of the Oil trade.  To retaliate, the Ruskies might "sanction" FSoA LNG ships bound for Rotterdam.

It is sad that the majority of people will hear 'illicit oil' and immediately reifiy it as a real thing.

Basically nobody is supposed to sell Oil to anyone the FSoA flags as an "enemy".

Just like an immigrant who does not have blond hair and a pussy and who is instead dark skinned becomes defined as illegal.  Even if they come from an eastern European country, dark skin would make them illegal.  But blonde hair and a pussy under the right circumstances can get an immigrant an Einstein visa no matter where they might be from.  Even one of Trump's "Shithole Countries" would qualify.  To be sure a thick accent with staunch determination to not speak fluent English would help if they actually were from a shithole country.  A thick accent would certainly cancel out being from the shithole country.

Illegal now means 'that which assholes do not like'.  It fits with America's new authoritarian zeitgeist very well.
