There is radical, and then radical. You seem pretty straight up for a well heeled American Boomer, except for the political affiliation anyway. And being irritated at the status  quo is more the norm than not nowadays, the oligarches thrilled with it being a small fraction of the population and very small in number.

Ah...been both of those. Don't knock'em till you tried'em. It isn't as though they are HARD or anything...cops generally weren't much of a worry under either circumstance. Moreso when homeless, but being poor was more miserable than just being homeless even with the heightened cop worries

Quite true. Although I've never considered opinions based on experience, history, facts and suchlike to be...bait..?  Or going fishing?

For example, no one claims you are fishing you when pitch out online references to how great the ACP is. I ask questions, not knowing much about them, you provided some online information, it certainly wasn't what I expected and I learn something from the basics of the idea.

But is it more than just an interest in ideas online? How many IRL meetings/gatherings/coffee shop interactions do you participate in over the course of a year with the ACP? RE has made his feelings clear on the usefulness of personal echo chamber, but you've mentioned you are mobile, have respectable social status cage cred, high net worth, how often does the ACP meet locally and discuss....ACP....stuff? And is it as interesting participating IRL as compared to just posting online links and videos at the place with a handful of geriatrics as listeners?

For as much experience I have with firearms and hunting and trapping to feed the family, I've never been a fisherman. I tried once. Guns are cooler than fishing poles. It started as just the impression of a 11 year old, but it stuck for the rest of my life.
