Really? As a measure of "require", what is the tab? Like, 50% of disposal income to feed the indiginent? Donating excess housing space for a homeless couple or small family, maybe a lightly remodeled garage  to help someone out? Hours of personal time donated at local shelters? Promises of non-obvious displays of social status and wealth?

I mean, your statement is so serious about requirements...what might they be? Is lipservice/cheerleading a brand enough?

From what I've seen so far Firebrand hasn't said anything that has a snowballs chance in hell of breaking through the couchmind of The Mass of Men or the stock portfolios of the Fortunate Ones.

K-Dog once posted the 10 Steps To Being A Good American Communist Party Member, I don't think that list wasrelated to Firebrand though.

K-Dogs list looked like the self improvement 10 steps they hand out to dopers and alcoholics trying to get better, just sort of self improvement stuff.

Nothing about much in the way of how to become a cool/hip communist, versus a Stalin/Mao type. Just be good, do good, don't lie, like I said, looked like anyone's 10 step recovery program.

But here's the deal - I'm not done yet. After a couple more months more of perusing the site a couple of times a week I'll either find enough real world interesting shit to move the bookmark to my daily read or send it to the bottom of the stack.

I think most originality on the internet was disappearing by 2010, being taken by the soon to be internet media oligarch types with their silo creating software and directed advertising model. Trump is a cretin.  I went to a first rate public school on par with ANY private school.  In the sixth-fucking grade I learned that the president had the tariff power.  One of the few powers a president actually has beyond being chief influencer with a pen who can't really make laws on his own.  All the president can legally do is slow laws down with a veto.  Congress made laws, or used to.  If half of the adults understood tariffs, and presidential power they would understand what is going on.  Like women who all know what this means:

  Tariff because that is all you really got.

Sixth fucking grade gave me the knowledge that Trump tariffs just because he can, and for no other reason.

Now I am cursed to walk the earth in a country where alleged adults have less knowledge of our government than I did in the sixth grade.  Does this make me feel superior?  NO, it actually sucks.  Idiocracy is now.
