‘It didn’t matter whose child I rescued’: parents of Iran school bombing victims describe their worst day

Hours before the world learned that a US missile had hit Shajareh Tayyebeh school, parents were already searching the rubble for their sons and daughters. In this exclusive report, four families describe the events of 28 February.

The Cushion Is Gone and the Oil Market Is Now Exposed

The oil market initially absorbed a historic supply disruption thanks to surplus, floating storage, and policy interventions. Those buffers are now largely depleted, leaving the system structurally fragile and highly sensitive to new disruptions. With spare capacity constrained and inventories falling, even minor supply shocks could now trigger disproportionate price spikes.

General Shekarchi: Iran sets conditions for ending war

The senior spokesperson for Iran's armed forces addressed the enemies, saying: "Distance yourselves from your Hollywood advisors and face the truth."

Next up we have Fox News with its usual narrow insular white whale view of things.

Leave it to Fox to have no humanity whatever.  People die and what does Fox do?  Their ossified hidebound asses give advice on how to beat high gas prices.  People at Fox are true motherfuckers.  Methinks Fox viewers worship at the altar of greed is good too.  There is an obvious manipulation going on here which a Fox News viewer would have a hard time understanding.  This news article is sending a message.  High gas prices are just something to get through.  Something to get through for better times ahead.  That is the tone in which the information is conveyed and the tone in which information is conveyed is as powerful as the information itself.

A new oil shock is building. The next few weeks of war will be decisive for the economy.

Oil executives and analysts warn that the Strait of Hormuz needs to be reopened by mid-April or oil-supply disruptions will get significantly worse. Benchmark oil prices reflect some optimistic scenarios that could still come true, but the window for that to happen is closing. President Donald Trump’s ability to sway the market toward lower prices appears to be diminishing as a result.

Nearly every analyst here tells you what will happen if the war stops now.  They don't talk about what will happen if the straight is still closed in July, or eve May or June.  Everybody woorks on the assumption it's another 3-4 weeks MAX.  Somehow, I doubt it.  Militarily, it's a nightmare and would take way more than the 5000 or so troops so far on the road.  They won't all even be in place for another 2 weeks.

Under the more likely scenario oil doesn't start pouring out of there, you're talking a total meltdown in most of Europe and Asia, and it won't be pretty here either.

Trump is not gonna be real popular in that scenario.

Then that scenario must not happen.

Yah, & Trumpolini should be sent along with the money for trial under Sharia Law.  I'm sure the Ayatollahs can find an appropriate punishment somewhere in the Koran.

Sadly of course, this is not gonna happen.  It should take about 2 weeks for the 2nd boatload of marines to arrive and a few days to get all the hardware ready.  Then another week bombing the living shit out of the coastline while the Iranians bunker up in the caves.   Then the troop ships will try to run the straigh and I'd give it maybe 70-30 they make it through without too many landing craft getting sunk by missiles or unmanned submersibles.  Then they hit the beaches Normandy style and try to set up shop, while Iranians rain down short range missiles from the interior.

This should take us to the end of May, by which time the global economy will be in shambles.

Trump loves gold.

The Ayatollahs giving Trump a gold sword would make everybody happy.  Then everybody can go home.

Giving gold would also make history rhyme.  Comparing Israel and their vassal state of Trumptown USA to the Roman Empire :

QuoteMeanwhile the Romans also laid hold of him, came to blows with the others, and for a time held their own; then aid came to the barbarians, and they prevailed; 2 for their forces, which were in the plain and had been made ready beforehand brought help to their men before the Romans on the high ground could to theirs. And not only the others fell, but Crassus also was slain, either by one of his own men to prevent his capture alive, or by the enemy because he was badly wounded. This was his end. 3 And the Parthians, as some say, poured molten gold into his mouth in mockery; for though a man of vast wealth, he had set so great store by money as to pity those who could not support an enrolled legion from their own means, regarding them as poor men. 4 Of the soldiers the majority escaped through the mountains to friendly territory, but a part fell into the hands of the enemy.

On the first day of the U.S.-Israel war of aggression on Iran, at 11 am local time, tomahawk cruise missiles fired by the U.S. military struck an elementary school in the town of Minab. Minab is situated in southern Iran , near the Strait of Hormuz.  The attack killed 168 students and teachers. Most of the victims were little girls. The Trump regime initially denied any role in the attack and suggested that the Iranian military was responsible,. but U.S. military officials soon acknowledged that the U.S. was responsible for the school's destruction. U.S. officials claimed, however, that the attack was a 'mistake'.

  • EXCLUSIVE: Minab School & Former Military Camp Attack — School Converted 18 Years Ago, Medical Warehouses Destroyed, Children Killed
Reporter: Demetri Lceris | Outlet: Reason to Resist
Date of Recording: March 28, 2026 | Location: Minab, Iran

    1. SCHOOL COMPLEX ATTACK — CONVERTED FROM MILITARY CAMP 18 YEARS AGO
A school complex in Minab was attacked, with multiple missiles striking the school building, a schoolyard, and adjacent warehouses. The facility was a military camp 18 years ago but was evacuated and converted entirely to civilian use. The site includes a school for both boys and girls, a medical supply warehouse, and a store for Ministry of Education staff. Despite the presence of a high wall with old barbed wire giving the exterior a military appearance, the interior shows no evidence of military use at the time of the attack.

    Key Facts:
    • Location: Minab, Iran
    • Former Use: Military camp (evacuated 18 years ago; transferred to Shiraz)
    • Current Use at Time of Attack: School (boys and girls), medical warehouse, Ministry of Education staff store, residential area
    • Exterior Appearance: 10-foot concrete wall with rusty old barbed wire; faded paint; resembles old military base or low-security jail from outside
    • Interior Condition: Overgrown grass and weeds; broken windows; rusted equipment; no evidence of heavy vehicle activity or military equipment storage
    • Number of Missiles: At least 4 reported (3 hit the school; 1 hit adjacent warehouse)
    • Date of Attack: Prior to March 28, 2026 (specific date not provided in recording)
    2. SCHOOL FACILITIES & YARD
The school complex included facilities for both boys and girls, with separate yards and floors.

    School Layout:
    • First Floor: Girls' classrooms
    • Second Floor: Boys' classrooms
    • Girls' Yard: Visible from main entrance; included soccer pitch and basketball net
    • Boys' Yard: Located in the back; separate from girls' yard
    • Schoolyard Features: Children's paintings and artwork on walls; play areas
    Items Found in Rubble:
    • Children's artwork and paintings on walls
    • Whiteboard in a classroom with message: "Your blood will not remain; we will revenge the blood of you"
    • Bag of pencils found near crater
    • Crayons and flowers observed

    3. MEDICAL WAREHOUSE & MINISTRY OF EDUCATION STORE — DESTROYED
Adjacent to the school, two warehouses were also targeted. These were civilian facilities storing medical supplies and staff goods.

    Warehouse Descriptions:
    • Warehouse 1 (Medical Supply Warehouse): Destroyed; located approximately 300 meters from the school
      • Contents observed in rubble: eye drops, pills, medical undergarments (adult diapers), syrup (labeled "expectant"), pharmaceutical supplies
      • Described by locals as a medicine warehouse

    • Warehouse 2 (Ministry of Education Store): Destroyed; a store for teachers and staff of the Ministry of Education
      • Type: "Tauboni" — subsidized store providing goods for education staff

    • Adjacent Building (Warehouse Area): Included a prayer room with Quranic verses, carpets, couch, old television, clock, map on wall, and a photograph of a martyr from the Iran-Iraq War (commander named Ibrahim)
    Additional Structures at Site:
    • Old water tower (rustic, obviously old)
    • Antenna on warehouse roof (described by locals as standard infrastructure for providing network and internet to citizens; not military equipment)
    • Prayer room with direction marker (qibla)

    4. INTERVIEW WITH FATHER OF SCHOOL CHILDREN (DISTRAUGHT WITNESS)

    Account of the Attack:
    • Arrived at the scene immediately after the explosion
    • Despite risk of another attack, locals from children to parents all came to help
    • Children were found dismembered — some without heads, some without hands

    Sequence of Explosions:
    • First Missile: Targeted the school
    • Second Missile: Targeted a warehouse (medical warehouse area)
    • Third Missile: Targeted another house/residential structure
    Rescue Efforts:
    • Locals destroyed a section of the wall (the hole visible on camera) to allow vehicles to enter for rescue operations
    • Cars were used to help children trapped in rubble

    5. INTERVIEW WITH ALI (PRESS TV CORRESPONDENT & REPORTER'S COLLEAGUE)

Ali, a colleague of the reporter from Press TV, provided additional investigation findings about the site.

    Key Information from Ali:
    • This was the first time journalists were permitted to access the area behind the wall for thorough inspection
    • No one prevented the reporter from going anywhere on the grounds once inside

    Former Military Camp Confirmation:
    • Locals confirmed the site was a military camp 18 years ago
    • The camp was evacuated and transferred to Shiraz
    • Since then, the entire area has been converted to civilian use: school, medical warehouse, Ministry of Education store, and residential

    Antenna Explanation:
    • Antennas like the one visible on the warehouse roof are found throughout Iran
    • They provide network and internet services to citizens
    • Ali confirmed this antenna served no military purpose

    Grass and Weed Condition:
    • The overgrown grass and weeds on the site indicate the area has not been used for military purposes for years
    • Heavy vehicles such as tanks or missile launchers would have left visible tracks and flattened vegetation

    6. INTERVIEW WITH TIM (REPORTER'S COLLEAGUE)

Tim, a colleague of the reporter, joined the inspection and offered his conclusions.

    Tim's Observations:
    • From the outside, the facility looks like a prison or military facility (high wall, old barbed wire)
    • Once inside, the evidence confirms the site was converted to a school at least 13 years ago
    • Three missiles hit the school; a fourth hit an adjacent building
    • The adjacent building contained medical supplies (injectables, pads, medicines) — evidence it was handed over to the health department after military evacuation
    • No evidence of military facilities in either the school site or adjacent building

    On Surveillance Capabilities:
    • Tim stated that from satellite, it would be "very obvious" this was a school
    • Satellite imagery would show children and schoolyard features
    • He suggested the attack was a cover-up attempt; initial claims blamed Iran for using a Tomahawk missile on its own school
    • He questioned: "What business have the US got being in any sort of military capacity on the other side of the world anyway if they can't tell the difference between a school and a military facility?"

    7. REPORTER'S CLOSING SEGMENT — EXTERIOR APPEARANCE VS. REALITY

The reporter concluded with observations from outside the facility, contrasting its exterior appearance with the interior reality.

    Exterior Appearance:
    • 10-foot concrete wall
    • Old, rusty barbed wire (clearly aged, not recently installed)
    • Faded paint
    • From outside, could be mistaken for a military facility or low-security jail

    Reporter's Conclusion:
    • "If you didn't have sophisticated satellite technology and were simply walking around, you might be forgiven for mistaking this for a military facility if you were just walking around it on the outside."
    • "But if you have sophisticated satellite technology, I don't know how anybody could come to the conclusion that this was a military facility."
    • The interior showed no military use — only overgrown grass, broken windows, rusted equipment, children's art, crayons, flowers, and medical supplies.

    KEY DATA SUMMARY

    • Date of Recording: March 28, 2026
    • Location: Minab, Iran
    • Site History: Military camp until 18 years ago; converted to civilian use since
    • Facilities at Site: School (boys and girls), medical warehouse, Ministry of Education staff store, prayer room, residential area

Worse than the 1970s

Donald Trump, it seems, has managed to outdo his first term’s mismanagement of COVID-19 with an economic crisis of extraordinary scope and scale, entirely of his making. In a recent interview, International Energy Agency (IEA) Chief Fatih Birol asserted the present energy crisis was already on track to be “worse than the 1970s.” How bad is that exactly? The answer, unfortunately, is that this has the potential to be the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.

This is getting a little closer to the Best Case Outcome for the oncoming shitstorm.  The Worst Case Outcome is Global Famine, Riots & civil Wars, Food & Fuel rationing, shortages of basic medicines like Insulin and Antibiotics, and rampant disease epidemics.

JPM Warns of Vulnerability That Could Add $20 to Oil Price

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have now formally joined the escalating Middle East conflict. “While their involvement is not yet decisive, it introduces a second maritime pressure point in the Red Sea, alongside the Strait of Hormuz, the conflict now extends into the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb.

Now all they need to do is blow up an LNG tanker in the Suez Canal.  They can get the price up over $200.

However, he said, in comments made to reporters , "you never know with Iran.  We negotiate with them and then we always have to blow them up."

"Take the Oil"?  How?

First off, even if the Jarheads manage to storm the cliffs without being massacred, the Iranians have no doubt already booby-trapped all the storage tanks and will blow up everything themselves before they let them take the oill there.  2nd, the amount stored there is only enough to fill a few tankers and needs to be constantly replenished from oil still underground inside Iran.  3rd, even if they could get that oil, they still couldn't ship it out until they get control of the entire north coast where the IRGC has their missiles and boat and submersible launch points.

Trumpolini's strategic thought process never got past playing Cowboys & Indians at Kindergarten recess.  He has now upped the deployment to around 50,000 while still maintaining he doesn'tt plan to use them.  WTF believes that?  Not the Iranians, that's for sure.  Meanwhile, the IRGC has around 180,000 active troops dug in on home soil.  Even if all the Jarheads are Rambo & Dutch, they're not gonna mow them all down in a 2 hour movie.  It would take months at best, and by the time it was over all that would be left of the infrastructure would be rubble.  All the pumping facilities would need to be rebuilt, which would take years.

The stupidity on display here is breathtaking.
